Labor Day

For Labor Day we went camping at Grammy and Grandad's land at Soldier Summit. We had such a great time, and there is nothing better then a s'more on an open fire!

We brought up our bow and arrow and shot at targets. We also went fishing. We didn't catch anything, but the boys loved it.

On the way home we got a flat tire. While Erik was changing the tire the boys made a a pirate ship out of rocks. I love watching their creative minds at work.

1st Day of School

I can't believe all of my boys are in school this year.  Parker (5th), Kolton (3rd), Camden (1st) and Asher (preschool).  They were all really excited for school this year. They all have great friends in their classes and we have heard wonderful things about all of their teachers.  Parker is most excited about being able to start doing space missions and camps.  Our elementary has the Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center. Kolton is excited to learn new things and see his friends again. Camden is excited to be able to go all day and eat lunch with his friends and to do math activities. Asher just wants to be as big as his brothers.  The night before school we were making lunches and Asher had to make one for him also. We have loved watching our boys grow!

1st day of school treat.  I made apple suckers. It's an oreo dipped in chocolate and then you decorate the face, I got the idea from the Family Fun Magazine.  They were so YUMMY!
