Merry Christmas

Every Christmas Eve we get to open our Christmas pajamas. So far we have had a theme, this year we did all of our favorite Disney characters. Erik got Goofy, I got Minnie, Parker got Donald Duck, Kolton got Goofy, Camden got Chip 'n Dale, and Asher got Mickey. After we open them we watch Polar Express and the boys get to sleep out down stairs under their tree. (Santa comes to the upstairs tree.)

Christmas morning. Parker and Kolton got I-pods, and Camden and Asher got Lego sets from Santa.

This is how we spend the rest of our Christmas day, making lego sets!

Next we go to Temple Square and see the lights with my cousin Alisa's family, then warm up with some hot chocolate.

I love Christmas time. I love the spirit that is in the air. I love the time off that my husband and boys have so we get to spend so much time together. I love all the traditions we have doing things together. (We really missed playing in the snow this year.) But most of all I love the excitement my boys have for wanting to get or do things for each other.

Bayles Disneyland Reunion

Grandad (Erik's dad) retired in May from being the principal at Timpview High School. For a retirement gift to the family they took everyone to Disneyland over Thanksgiving. We had such an amazing time! We loved the time spent with cousins and the memories we will always remember. Thank you for the wonderful trip!

Asher's Favorite Ride - The Tea Cups. You can't help love this ride after you go on it with him.

Camden's favorite ride is California Screamin' - Before each ride we would choose a way to look for the picture. Here is their confused look. Camden loves the fast rides. Look how small he looks! The first time he went on this ride I about died, I thought he is going to fly out of his seat. I guess Disney knows what they are doing.

Kolton's favorite ride is actually Indiana Jones, but we don't have a picture of him on it. Tower of Terror is his second favorite.
Parker love Space Mountain.
All the boys love the new Star Tours!
This is the first time all the boys went on Tower of Terror. Camden went on it in April and LOVED it. He talked about it all the time. I think his older brothers were tired of him showing them up, so they had to try it. They were so nervous that they were making themselves sick. But despite the picture they all came off the ride loving it. We did it several times.

MC Kolton

About the middle of October, Kolton came home and said his school was having a talent show and he wanted to beat box. I asked him if he knew how and he said yes and started making random noises with his mouth.  We played beat boxing videos on YouTube for him to show him what it really sounded like and he informed us that they all sounded just like him.  We decided to let him do it if that was what he wanted. He won his class competition and then the 3rd grade. At the schools final talent show, when the MC announced his name, all the students started screaming. The MC said you don't even know what he is doing and everyone yelled beat boxing. You did a great job Kolon! (Sorry about the videoing, I had a great little helper:))

Gooo Cougars!

One of our favorite things to do in the fall is going to the BYU football games. We get two seats every year in the south end zone, but this year Parker mowed Grammy and Grandad's lawn and was able to go to all the home games. With the two tickets the boys get to choose a game and a restaurant they want to go to for a father and sons night. They look forward to this every year. Erik loves this time with  the boys also, just the one and one time. We also get to go to a game with the whole family.

Happy Halloween

One of my favorite things about Halloween is watching my boys carve their pumpkins. They can't handle gutting the pumpkin, it's too slimy for them. I never knew how strong their gag reflex was. They will try anything to avoid cleaning out the slime and seeds.  There is a lot of dry heaving during this process. The pictures they carve go along with their costumes. We go online and they find their favorite picture and then they begin their master piece.  Parker carved the British flag (he was James Norrington from Pirates of the Caribbean), Kolton carved the skull and cross swords (he was Jack Sparrow), Camden carved a pirate ship (he was Will Turner), and Asher carved a pirate face (he was a pirate).

Every year the boys' school has a Halloween Parade.

I'm Parker's class room mom. For part of the party they had to eat a doughnut off a string without using their hands, Parker came in first! Asher of course had to do it when he saw everyone else.

Trunk or Treating. I think Camden came home with twice as much candy as everyone else.

Erik and I (The Cowboy and his Saloon Girl!) I love you Babe!
